The title “High School Musical” sounds boring that’s why I didn’t watch the film the first time it was shown in theatres. But my friends are telling me that High School Musical is a great film so when I saw the vcd, I bought a copy for my self. From the very beginning to the very end, High School Musical is really exciting that you will not let your self miss any of the scenes. The production, characters, and everything in the film are excellent and for me, this is the best comedy-love-musical story I have ever watched.

The story begins with a New Year party when Troy Boltron(Zac Efron), a most valuable basketball player and Gabriella Montez(Vanessa Anne Hudgens), a mathematics genius, were forced to sing a duet song. Their voices made them fell in love with each other for the first time. Coincidentally, they were studying at the same school and eventually they realized that life is incomplete without singing. But how can a basketball player and a mathematics genius make singing as their career? That was a big problem. But not for Troy and Gabriella. They have tried to audition for the school musical even though they know that their friends will laugh at them. Like other drama story, there are antagonists. Sharpay Evans(Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan Evans(Lucas Grabeel) will not let Troy and Gabriella take their places as the stars of High School Musical.
