Koisuru Tomato (a.k.a. Love Tomato) is a labor of love for respected character actor Daichi Yasuo, who wrote, produced, and starred in the film. Thirteen years in the making, the film makes a statement about the declining state of agriculture in Japan and the difficulties Japanese farmers face in a society that increasingly marginalizes their work.
