A message was posted on the Friendster Bulletin Board by my classmate, Macgyver Dimalibot about Meebo and eBuddy. He also received the Yahoo Messenger Virus and now he is suggesting a browser-based messenger to stop the spread of the said virus.
With Meebo, you can log in to your AIM or ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, Jabber or GTalk, and MSN without installing any application. All you have to do is to enter your account information in their website and after logging in, you can send instant message to your friends.
With eBuddy, you can log in to your AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, and MSN without installing any application. Like Meebo, all you have to do is to enter your account information in their website and and after logging in, you can send instant message to your friends.
Actually, I’m having doubt with the two browser-based messengers so I didn’t enter my real Yahoo ID and Password. But I will create a new YM account for eBuddy or Meebo use only.
