After spending the last six years dabbling in horror, Director Park Ki Hyung has found a new home in the big house that is Korean Cinema: violence. Park's debut Whispering Corridors, the film which arguably jumpstarted the summer horror trend in Korea, left deep impressions on the audience by going beyond simple horror tropes, exploring the world of abusive teachers in female high schools.
